Grain in Ear: Sustainable Silk & Storytelling For this SS19 collection, I explored the third chapter of my Chinese Solar Term series, focusing on "Mang Zhong" (The Coming of Summer). Fabrics: Luxurious Canton Silk paired with eco-ink digital printing to ensure sustainability without compromising vibrancy. Prints: A clash of organic forms (fruits, animals) and geometric cityscapes, designed to be worn as bold "all-over" looks or mixed separates. Concept: A fusion of heritage folklore and contemporary urban life.
